So after months of waiting, we finally have a new hire in my department... only to find out that she really isn't going to make it. she is a grown adult who huffs and puffs about having to do literally anything you ask her to do. i know that a new hire is going to be slow, and i've tried to be super nice to her ab...
After lots of deliberation, I finally took the plunge and put in my two weeks today. I got a job offer from another company that pays more and had better benefits and decided I would take it. I was amazed how hard it was for me to do though. As much as I complain about this place, I must like it at least some. I w...
Hi, friends. So I've been working at Kroger for a little over a year. I was a bagger for four months, and I've been a cashier for eight months now. They've decided to make me and another guy floor supervisors. I train in a few days, and I'm kind of nervous about it. So my questions are do I get a raise? Is it ev...

I used hand sanitizer to clean tomato juice that spilled on the belt since the spray bottles were not at my register. I threw the soaked paper towels away in the trash can under my register. Later in my shift the FES comes by and searches through the trash can with his bare hands. Then shrieks when his c...
we recently got a few new hires on the night crew, 2 of them aren't bad, a bit slow, but that's to be expected when they're new. however, the 3rd guy is absolutely disgusting to be around. he will never stop talking to you, as if he has no mental filter whatsoever. most of the stuff i can't be bothered to list...

I'm part time and have worked for kroger for about two months. A new store is opening next month and is four miles from my house as opposed to the sixteen miles of my current store. The store manager doesn't want me to transfer. He wouldn't give a reason other than saying they have plans for me after the fi...
I know I'm not the only one that has to deal with this. Look, I admit that I have my once in awhile moments where I'm not 100% on the ball. I'm not perfect and I don't claim to be. I don't expect any of my co-workers to be 100% productive 100% of the time. We're all human (I think... I hope) and at times, get distr...
Our FEM and all 4 Service Managers told the boss today they are all stepping down because of being blamed for poor Quevision and OSAT scores. WOW! I heard a few days ago that they were plotting this move because our boss is all over them. They were tired of the BS! Apparently another store down the road is...

I was just wondering do i need a receipt for a Gatorade bottle I brought from home? I use it as a water bottle and I have not seen this type of bottle at our store. I have had it for a while. I take it to the gym with me and other places. My manager was asking me for my receipt one day. She said I needed one for anythi...
About anything? Not at my store, several store managers working at the same time and none of them watching anything. A why are they even there? Even corporate is no good.
