do other kroger stores scheduling enough baggers in the daytime? Is it corporate or management or combination of not scheduling enough baggers? My store used to have enough daytime baggers but lately no bagger helper. I know school is back in session but we still had enough baggers. My store is a mark...
I want to transfer stores because mine is badly understaffed and I can't continue to work 30+ hours a week in a school week. Will they not allow me to transfer because they are already understaffed, or is it the other store's decision? Who do I talk to to begin the process? Thanks for any help!
Who doesn't understand or doesn't give a **** about the equipment in question. Had a customer on Uscan, who had like 5 cases of water and some soda can packs. She didn't feel like lifting them up to scan them and neither did I. So she tells me to scan them using the handheld "thingie." I tell her that I don'...
There is this this guy that comes in the store regularly. He starts out by asking the cashier to pick a number between one and five. For this example the cashier chose 5. Then he tells the cashier to have the 5th customer after him choose to use the card on their order or save the card for a different custome...
Our front end is horribly understaffed. Its not an uncommon occurrence for four or five checklanes to be open and no baggers whatsoever. I am one of approximately 6 courtesy clerks in the whole store, and it is a marketplace store as well. Corporate decided now would be a great time eradicate the in-ho...
They came to me at the Uscan wanting to load a Kroger gift card for $400. So I scan the gift card and swipe it with the amount. They say they want to pay with a check. So they hand me their personal check with their signature but they don't write out the amount and they want me to print the amount on the check. I t...
In one week. That's how much overtime they are attempting to cut down from the Cincinnati/Dayton Division District 2 this week, compared to the previous week. And what did they have to say? "Welcome to the new world." I just want these suits to understand, we use this overtime because YOU need it, not b...
I keep hearing about the same managers over and over again. Everyone talks about how mean they are. They have a job to do. They are responsible in making sure you do your job. If you don't do your job, then managers pay for it also. If you want them off your back, do your job. You're not getting paid to play Ca...

Hola peeps, As it is inventory time and all things needing to be scanned, had to be scanned today. I was curious how long does it take everyone to get inventory done in their department? Bit of background: I'll be honest only having been on for a year I've never been scheduled to come in during a inventory...
So had an interesting conversation with my manager today. I'm a store recruiter/ service director trying to become a backup in the front end and progress in the crazy world of Kroger. My manager told me basicaly step down from what I do now and enhance my skills or stay in my role and be stuck. Very suppor...
I've already did the search on this particular topic. But honestly I'm just looking for opinions on how good people find the insurance to be? And does it cost more for full timers vs. part timers. All I keep hearing is how great it is from our regional or whatever manager. But I'd hate to switch to a new pla...
