What is the process of giving someone a verbal versus a written? I had a sitdown once with 2 managers but they just asked me questions and I answered. They did not tell me it was a verbal. Can you be written up without them telling you? I am certain my managers want to fire me but cant find anything. I dont t...
I got my password set up about a week ago. I'm unable to login with the password. My HR is the one who set it up and I'm 95% positive I'm using the right one. I definitely hasn't been 70 days and I don't want to bother them so soon. I need to learn how to use it, but I can't learn by others just showing me. I have to a...
Happy Easter everyone! To those of you who had to work today: I hope your day went smooth and hope you got to spend some time with your family , before and/or after work. To those of you who didn't have to work, ENJOY your entire day with family. You are the ones who are going to work your butts off this next we...
When first shift can't take the time to sweep floors, clean slicers, wipe tables and counters, and do some dishes, it makes second shift look they aren't doing their job. In actuality second shift is doing double the work. I had to wash every spoon we have and all first shifts dishes last night, help bak...
I would never go into a store and try to barter to get a discount. What is wrong with these people?! Does your store have this problem? -- Edited by BigEyedFish on Thursday 13th of April 2017 10:15:13 AM
I am trying to find out exactly when I will have worked 1200 hours so I will be eligible for health insurance. Where can I find that information without asking a Kroger employee at the location I work at?
I seem to always get scheduled 26 hours or less, then called in on my days off. I always go because I want the hours. I wanted to prove I'm available for the 40 hours a week that I want. It's starting to feel like they schedule me so little hours because they know I'll come in on my days off. If I stopped being...
Kroger is not suppose to change schedule after Saturday. I have installers at my house and cant leave. They changed the schedule on me after Saturday and didn't inform me of the change. So now Im considered late. -- Edited by Deli Clerk on Friday 14th of April 2017 02:48:02 PM
This year's batch was lousy. They cam out of the same box but some looked like they about to overproof while others just sat there and didn't rise at all. How am I suppose to work with crappy product like that?

Thought I'd like to make a public service announcement. I have decided to switch over to safety razors and ditch the disposable razor monopoly scam. You guys know that disposable razors are so expensive, and part of the reason is because of marketing. In 2011, Gillette spent $146 million on media ad...
I have always suspected that people are buying their personal groceries via tax-free. I thought it was supposed to be for places like churches and non-profits. We have commercial companies coming into our store and buying tons of stuff. What is the policy on tax-free sales in your store?
1. We have our favourite customers. Unfortunately you aren't one of them! 2. We silently roll our eyes when you bring your reuseable bags-some of us *don't* want to save the planet and don't give a flip about being "green." 3. Earth mothers (you know who you are): you are SO annoying. 4. We *don't* have a...
Does anyone else have this problem? A guy that's been there for 15 years rides the clock ( goes slow the whole night ) just for over-time and waits for other faster stockers to help him. Can he be written up for this? I've done all my isles by 6 o clock and yet THIS guy always needs help. I've done his isle...
So I started last week, on Wednesday(3rd). It was the five-six hour orientation that they said we will be paid for, because we started that day. The next two days I worked on the computer for almost two hours each day, then went straight into my field. Working hands on. I was there from Wednesday until Su...
