Can anyone tell me the exact steps to load a gift card? I remember that I need to key in the 6671 Scan Rite code, scan the gift card, then swipe it in the card slot on the register's keyboard. After that, what is next?
Transferred to a new location in same district since they were short handed. Not liking the way things are run at current store what can i do to go back to old location ...?
Hello, My name or at least on here is Doc J and I have worked off and on in grocery stores for a few years and have been at the Kroger I am at for almost 1 year. I am usually wherever management needs me even though it seems like I am stuck on the registers (I am more of a back of the store person). The stockroom...
Hey Kroger Ogres (clever, right?), I've got to vent about an experience I had with a holier-than-thou member of corporate today during training. Some background: They just rolled out a new ordering system at Smith's (Western US, not sure if this is company wide) called Order Evolution. They made...
People need to stop complaining about each other. They need to stop finding faults in others. They need to accept their part in the problem and resolve it. Blaming others gets you nowhere. It doesn't solve the problem. I am one of the first ones that will admit my mistakes. Heck I put my name on my mistake...
' How does this even happen? They recently passed a contract that gave HR the ability to just give out full time to people who last year averaged they're magic number (what ever that is) and those who didn't meet they're requirements got completely screwed over because their isn't anymore hrs left...
has anyone noticed how awful some of the older employees treat the younger ones? Tired of elders/superiors treating younger people not as their equals. No one has the right to look down on someone because of age. youre old... deal with it. Stop being pricks.
Long time lurker first time poster, been with Kroger 10+ years now. *Vent* Been having multiple weekly store walkthroughs with leads and managers for over a month now, while more than likely it's because the store I work at is in the bottom five in the district in terms of "fresh/friendly" scores the f...
So I hope you heard about the time when the stores used to be the carest but and then the, oh, and if you also heard, then I salute you kind sir. Also been the corporate head for the damnest of the years and when I heard that as well, damn, I couldn't have been happier.
Where do you go if you want to schedule a certain day off? I only work 20hrs a week but I want to try and watch my daughter play her last 2 softball games of the season.
There is a bully in my store and she happens to be the LEAD. She behaves in typical jealous and petty ways and also gossips about me constantly. I got fed up and filed a complaint but it went nowhere. Odds are stacked against me because i have only worked for the store a year and the store director likes her i...
Why is it that no one ever stands up for others? On rare occasion people who are being treated badly at work will stand up for themselves and tell a coworker to stop. However, when you see someone else being repeatedly abused for no good reason why do people decide not to get involved? You have an opportu...
Hey guys, God among the freight throwers here (lol jk). Tell me why working for Kroger sucks, but why you're sticking around. I know I've got my reasons, but I genuinely want to hear yours. This forum gives me enjoyment because most of the posts are things that we can all relate to and seem to be company wi...
i'm relatively new to this forum and i was just curious about how long the people here have been with kroger! i've been working here since late july 2016, so i'm approaching my 8th month here. started off as a courtesy clerk and then got moved to night crew after about 5 months. i like my new department mu...
I just noticed that I gave a, 2 weeks in advance request, for a day off (for a doctors app.) over a month ago. I gave another one about 2 weeks ago (an MRI app.). Both times they cut my hours a week after that requested day off. I had to put in another request for the 21st of this month (app. with a surgeon). When...
How come Kroger hires more people when they don't have the hours to give the employees they have? My hours went from 21 -16 hours a week and I heard they're thinking of hiring someone else in the my department. How can they do that? 24 hours -32 is considered part-time and I don't even get that.
