I've been with this store for 7 years, and in the produce department for the last 5 years. Our most recent manager, who started earlier this year, is considered by many a prick. This manager has been writing everyone up in the department for minor mistakes. He has written me up about 10 times since he sta...
Question....Worked for Kroger in San Antonio for 13 years...they went to settle my 401K and claim I only worked for 6 years, basically cheating me out of 7 years of work...since the years were in the early 90s it is difficult to get tax forms to prove I was there.....anyone else have this problem? Or kno...
I just have a quick question. I worked from 1:15-5:15 on Thanksgiving, but on the pay stub for that week it says my holiday hours are only 1.75. Additionally, my paycheck was for 173.14, and my net was 124.54. I am a minor and I have no deductions, I've tried to do the math but can't figure out how I ended up p...
I just found out today we have to start doing our CAP for the bread breakout at 7:00 in the evening. Here's the problem. None of the night people know anything about the bread. They don't know what kinds we have, how much we sell, where it goes, when to order it, etc. Their reasoning is when you count th...
Yeah, i got hired and start work tomorrow, but they never said what i should wear? Like jeans and a nice shirt? and if so, what colors? Because i have no black sneakers, so will white ones work?
Myself and another employee want start openly dating. We met at work but, our siblings and cousins are friends and have known ne another for years. I am a CC and he is a night stocker. We dont work together. I clock on when he clocks off and work in completely different departments. We have been hiding it f...
I have been mentioning to my local union for the past 7 years at union meetings about ELMS and finally they're taking me serious. I'm not sure if we're going to have a special meeting over it, but there are some things others may know. I was asked to obtain a copy of the current and previous forecast to whi...
I received my Christmas Bonus check I really need it cashed but I have been turned down at other places because I don't write checks and this is just made out to me its not a personal check its a work check will Krogers cash it?
So I don't actually work at Kroger, my boyfriend does, and he has since January of this year. He's a full-time college student and he's constantly scheduled overnights in frozen, which is ****ty enough, but what happened today absolutely infuriates me. So it's our four year anniversary and I plann...
I checked e-schedule to see the status of my request off for Dec 21st and it went from pending to 'warning.' What the hell does that mean? There's no reason it just says 'warning' does anybody know what this means? I'm not the least bit nervous, just curious.
I'm just curious. In my department, I am one of three or four people going to college. (I graduate next semester with a degree in CS, and have a job offer starting 2 weeks after I graduate, starting around 70k plus benefits. Can't wait to leave this hellhole). But of course theres also people that HAVE gr...
What happens if, due to certain work circumstances, you don't get to use your personal day? I know vacations have to be paid out but i was told that PH days disappear.... is that true, or do they have to pay it out? Because ever since i was sent to my new store, pretty much every week there's been someone on v...

Any warning signs if they are planning on closing a store? Things I'm seeing, not making any repairs, cutting hours really bad, store audits, no manager only co's We are the only Kroger in a 25 mile radius. Sales down because of OOS
Was scheduled an early 5 hour shift today, took lunch within that timespan, went home on time. Truck was late yesterday, and due to poor scheduling only had 2 people to break down the load. New dept. manager came in just as I was leaving, and gets pissy because I didn't stay later and break out the rest of o...
The short of it. I am presently a lowly Courtesy Clerk at good ol' Kroger. Frequently I will be used as cleaner on weekends, essentially any time that one of our two regular Daytime Utility Clerks would be unable to work as a cleaner. While I admit that this happens to them as well, I am curious what is to...
