store 350 in Henderson, NV. The store directors here are nothing but unprofessional and hypocrites who don't appreciate their hard working employees unless you're one of their favorites. Unreal what this company has become. Pure evil. People need to know the evilness that lies in this store and co...
We have had so many management changes once we get a few meetings in a mgr transfers and we go dormant. How active are the IC's in your store and do they really make a difference in your store? It seems our store we are just spinning our wheels and not doing anything
i would like to report constant harrasment or descrimination toward certain employess from management at this store. Getting a written notice for simply doing my job is unfair and it needs to stop. What happened to this company is great? I demand you look into this unfairness happening at this store...
I get my pay in a check since I don't have a bank account and I won't be working at Kroger's much longer anyways. I go on vacation this Saturday and I have no way to collect my check while on vacation and I really need the money. Does Kroger do pay advances? If so how would I go about doing that?
I put in a personal day request for Monday next week and it was accepted, however I am still scheduled 4 days. Regularly, I would be scheduled 40 hours on any other week as a full timer. But since next week is a holiday week, full time employees only have to work 32 hours and any over is OT. So, shouldn't I be s...
Hello everyone I've been working in dairy department for about 5 months now & I would like somes tips on how to better in that department. There are 3 people in this dairy department & I basically work alone for 5-7 hours either in the mornings or evenings.During that time I finish our pallets &...
I've heard at other retailers that there's a process to rehire employees who left less than 3 months ago without making them go back through training. Does Kroger have anything similar?
Hi everyone, my husband is a new hire at Kroger and was that in order to join the union (or have full-time status?) that he must work at least 40 hours a week, every week, for 6 months. If he were to ever dip below that, he would have to start over again. Is this true? It seems bizarre to me, and maybe he was give...
I am a utility clerk and take pride in what I do. I go to work, do all my tasks as assigned. I even get compliments from co- workers and management alike. We'll today I get pulled into the office for... Get this... Being TOO task oriented. Uhh... I'm NOR there to chit chat with every Tom, Dick, and Jane that c...
I am hearing rumors that we either will get raises in January or March and they could possibly be retroactive. Not sure of the amount but I keep hearing $9.00-hope it is true. If we don't get something substantial in the new contract, we are SO close to a strike it isn't even funny!!
Sometimes my other comes to visit me while I am working. Store manager knows my S.O. is connected to me and "shoos" them away (hand motions included), even if they were there no longer then a minute. My S.O. doesn't normally stay longer then 3 minutes or so to say hello and good bye and is irritated/ embar...
Hello! I was wondering if it's possible to transfer to a store that Kroger is the parent company of (Quality Food Center). I'm graduating from school soon and want to move to the Northwest and was wondering if they would accept my transfer. Thank you.
This is my first year so I have no clue. The day before Thanksgiving and the day before Christmas Eve were terrible, we had 11 11 11 on Que Vision for about 2 hours straight and then 9 to 10 the rest of the day. So is Christmas Eve less, just as bad, or pure hell?
Do we really need to lay off people or are we covering the overspend in buying other Grocery Store Chains? Notice that none of Kroger Senior Management will be part of the "voluntary retirements" Nice touch by the way to let the associates know right before Christmas - Absolutely Heartless
Basically as stated above. Been here 8 years and have been asked by the managers at my store multiple times if I want in. I'm just nervous about how hard the background check is. It happened after I had been with the company for a long time,so I haven't said anything, but would obviously have to disclose i...
So, I had the 26th requested off about a month ago. When I looked at the schedule for this week, I noticed that the manager had scheduled me to work that day, and gave someone else the 26th as a regular day off. Now that coworker is bragging to everyone who'll listen that they have a 4 day weekend, and didn't...
We're always failing this (well... not only this, lol) at my store when it comes to EcoLab inspections. Management (naturally) only cares about this when EcoLab is threatening a visit and when that happens, people (like me...) get randomly pulled to clean underneath the bottom shelves of the aisle...
