In the frozen lead meeting last year in 035 Dallas division they said we going to get an email like the dairy leads. Did this ever happen, the people finder says I have a email address but outlook does not work for me.
My dept head (who I'm not very fond of) tells me the other day about his date with one of the co-managers. He said he asked her out she said yes and in about an hour he tells me he was yada yada yada deep in her. Now he didn't say yada yada he said something that rhymes with walls and straws. If I re...
I came into work the other day to realize that about 20 of the cashiers in our store had been written up poor their poor ring tender scores? Can they do this? Ring tender is such a dumb system that measures in absolutely no way how fast a cashier is!!! Is there any sort of action we can take?
I am currently a Utility Clerk who is trying to "teach" depts not to be lazy and clean THEIR messes. I do this by not cleaning up their messes in their dept (behind counter) so they have no choice but to clean it themselves. This includes if they are woeking the floor and a spill happens by their hand. i have...
Does this company depress anybody else? I've been looking for a new job desperately. I honestly don't think I could be more excited the day I envision myself leaving this company. My day dream is to take all of my vacations and personal days first then put in my 2 weeks, or just outright no call no show. Th...
What is the policy for snow and ice on the road? Been with the company for two years, last time it snowed, I merely walked to work. No problem. It was just snow. But the roads are nothing but ice right now. Especially ours. We can't even get the car out of our parking spot because it keeps sliding back in and...
Atlanta is expected to get a major winter storm this weekend. What is the policy (if any) on store closures/closing early? I was told if I couldn't come in due to weather conditions to just call out and let the manager on duty know. But we are already understaffed and many of our employees take the bus and...
When does kroger update or put out hours on eschudule i know that it only does one week at a time but what day does it normally updates if you want to see the schedule online instead of the store
So I'm kind of an new employee at kroger and I been having problems with the schedule because I have only been scheduled to work for only 2 days out of a month and I have been following the schedule online (eshedule) and I want to know what schedule is really official the online one or the paper one or do I cal...
Hi Forum, Just curious.........is Thursday designated as official "SENIOR DAY" at ALL Kroger Stores? It has been for quite some time here in a store in Indiana, just wondering if that is the same as other stores??? I also was wondering why during the last few weeks our regular Thursday Senior Citi...
I just took over my first department (Dairy) and it has apparently been a disaster since our store opened. One of the main problems that I am seeing is that every single BOH for items I have scanned has been horrendously off. (Cheese saying a BoH of 3 when I'm looking at 20 of the exact same thing etc etc) ...
I've been in my department for over a decade, but with a new manager came a stress level that I find harder and harder to deal with. I dread going into work, I dread even being near this man. His response to some aspirin that I had "topped" on the shelf was to ask "what is all this ****?" and proceed to throw al...
i just looked at my pay stub online and I've been switched from Courtsey Clerk to Cashier but my pay hasnt gone up? I've been a cashier for about 3 weeks now. Also the state I'm in voted for the national minimum wage to go up to $10 an hour there was a notice on the board at work saying how much we would be gettin...
Okay, I really hate asking paystub questions. Anyway, I just wanted clarity on a few things 1. Since the store was not opened Christmas, there is no Holiday Pay, just Legal Holiday. Right? 2. If you worked New Years Eve, is there no holiday pay for that? Or would it show next week. I worked NYE but not actu...
