How dirty is it in your dairy departments? I've seem some stores with a ton of mold against the wall and frankly it perturbs me just slightly. How often do you clean?
if someone can tell me how to upload an image without uploading it to a photohosting site OR name a site I can upload a photo to in order to post it here (that will let me do so anonymously), I'll do that with a screenshot of the actual handheld. Otherwise here are my #'s, you guess what the min is set to. Hin...

are kroger managers, department managers allowed to shop or buy coffee on the clock ? thats what happens in the store i work ...all of them do that constantly. Kinda sucks. Some of them doesnt clock out on the break either and sits on their break for over fourty five minutes .... any idea ?
We have inspections from the district manager every on Tuesdays and Fridays. Yesterday was even more important because several people from corporate came too. I heard the produce and deli/bakery departments each got a score of 7 (I'm assuming out of 10). The rest of the store got a 2.
I have been trying to transfer to a different store in my district for several weeks. My manager has denied my request claiming that we are shorthanded and cannot afford to lose me. My current store is a wreck and is constantly understaffed. I am one of three front end supervisors. I know the Head FES at t...
So we recently had the most idiotic and dumbest complaint on our OSAT survey i think I've ever heard that I feel like shooting myself in the face. Customer complained about the lobby being full of carts at night, which is how it is supposed to be, and that they don't want to walk around a god damn pole!!! AR...
So, i go into work at about 11pm, i go to the back room and it looks like a ****hole. Recently one of our GM quit and the place has been going down hill since, i walk toward the bailer litterally smells like **** and bunch of boxes everywhere because daycrew is to lazy to do a bail or the leads are like my back hu...
this might cause some fights but it also might open peoples' eyes to the work that others do. In my opinion the fuel station have the easiest jobs on the planet, they get to sit in the ac or heat and read, eat or whatever. any other thoughts on the easiest jobs?
Though I have enjoyed working at Kroger for almost 11 months now, it's time to move on. I am a junior in HS and have a pretty busy schedule. I like working at Kroger (most of the time) however due to my schedule, unfavorable managers, and health reasons (yes I feel like an old man with the condition of my k...
Hey all, I'm a bagger/ cashier. I'm 17. I've worked with Kroger for about 11 months total and I love it. Everyday I go into work, working hard as always. Well the other day we were super busy. This was a few weeks ago, but we had no backup cashiers. So me being the bagger, my boss put me on register, and I did fa...
Was wondering how long I should expect to wait. (also in the computer, still says courtest clerk vs new area) nag the managers every day, they said they submitted it a few days ago. My next question concerns backpay. I received a 5 cent raise after changing departments (automatic), So, some of my backp...
I was cleaning out the checkstands and found .95 in the catcher thing that catches debris and spare change. It hasn't been cleaned for a while, so that's why the change was there. I snatched up the change and decided to use it to buy myself a donut on my break. Well after my break I was called to managements...
Some of you may remember a post I put down about struggling with the way I was scheduled due to a couple of extra activities I was doing. Well, I dropped one of them and changed my schedule so I could be there for the other. They got it right. For one week. The next week I was put back on my old availability and m...
I've seen a few people put their real names on their profile here. Anyone at Kroger can look you up on greatpeople.me and find what store you're in and your position. -- Edited by ProduceDumbass on Wednesday 14th of September 2016 12:32:15 AM
I've seen many changes through the years but it feels like everything that's taken place (especially recently) is so that any dumbass off the street can come in and get a job. We have to label everything. "blue pallets, RPCs, bread. No ****, we're not stupid, we don't need signs on everything! Eve...
Hypothetically, what will happen if the state/federal minimum is $15? Will it be harder to get a job at Kroger or will there be some sort of automation that will replace some of the jobs at Kroger?
What store would I have to work at so I can be on the PA saying things like "I'm never too busy to stop and help a customer, never, 'cause that's what I'm there for" and the guy who's so dead set on proclaiming that "THIS IS MY STORE!" that he sounds like he's about to go into cardiac arrest?
