I finally got insurance for myself. But... unfortunately it's crazy expensive. I work part-time at Kroger, with no chance to get full time (according to upper management our store doesn't meet a certain 'quota' for it?) and make around $8/hr. And I get maybe 18 - 24 hours a week. (I used to get around 30...
I've been working at krogers as a Courtesy Clerk since June 2014. I've been asking mangers since OCTOBER 2014 and still been asking UNTIL THIS DAY can I switch departments and I STILL haven't been moved smh Its been nothing but constant procrastination from them and I'm tired of it. I feel as it's a pe...
I guess I'm having the same problem a lot of employee's are having. I can't call up my schedule on greatpeople.me. I keep getting directed to expresshr. Any answers ?
So I've worked at a Kroger for a year, and despite trying to make the best of it, it sucked. The last straw was being in a deli department that was being managed by a person that literally didn't know the first thing about managing a team, they were prissy, everything was a crisis, they didn't have the stre...
So I'm a new hire (pharmacy tech) and just finally got my schedule up on eSchedule (been doing the paper things since October). I gave my availability twice, once during the interview and again during orientation. However, i'm still being scheduled outside of the hours I gave. I'm a full-time studen...
I live in Michigan and worked in an MI store, but I remember another district outside of here was talking about how QueVision showed 0's across the board, and how they were doing away with it. I was shopping the other day and noticed that the QueVision lottery numbers were indeed stuck on 0. I wasn't su...
I am so tired of people who don't work! Yesterday our co-manager came in at 12 pm. Still upstairs at 12:30 when her lunch arrived. Spent another hour and a half eating. File clerk was right there with her, going over their facebook and looking at pictures and videos! This is a everyday thing. I'm n...
For about six or seven months now, I've been mostly a grocery clerk...who gets called everywhere to help the understaffed departments. Front end, produce, dairy, fuel, cart lots. I have no training in fuel or cashier, but, do it for short durations because I THOUGHT I had no choice. (Turns out I could...
there is a song at Kroger that is instruments and whistling. anyone know what it is? it sounds like a big band with whisling -- Edited by firedreams on Monday 7th of December 2015 03:42:58 AM
Hello my fellow Kroger employees. I am a 21 year old college student. I have a 4.0 GPA, and it has been hell keeping those grades while working thirty hours a week, which is usually how much I work. I work primarily in the diary department. Anyway, after this last semester I realize that its not good for me...

Yes, this is sure to raise morale at work and result in higher productivity and more friendly service... So management is now saying that they've tried to be "nice" about it in encouraging employees to say hello to every customer and that hasn't worked, so write-ups are going to follow now...
Hi guys. I quit Kroger back in June for a new job and school. I'm looking for a part time job on the side for after I graduate so I can pay off student loans quicker.. While I don't necessarily want to go back to Kroger, it might be an option just because it has evening hours and I have the 6 years experience. An...
Ive been working full-time for the last 7 months, according to one person I'm now eligible for insurance. I called to find out that kroger classifies everyone part-time, so I won't be eligible for insurance for another 3 months. I'm older and in poor health, I need the insurance. I've consulted a labo...
