Store 440 just brought down a massive hammer against stealing. All in one day they fired about 10-15 just from the front end. The fired people had stolen really anything, and I understand they have to fire people they catch, but do they really sit up there all day and just watch every employee? Also, s...
Kroger is constantly chasing some number on some report. Out of stocks, ring tender, green 1/2 hours, key retailing audits, food safety. There is one number I am curious about that I bet they could track. I wonder what the Kroger Suicide rates are.
I do not know how many Kroger employees are members on this site, but I would love to know what % of Kroger employees are happy or dissatisfyed with Kroger. I myself think Kroger sucks as an employer, and bottom line is get rid of employees who make too much, there will come a time when Kroger is ran by Dep....
I received a call from the manager at our towns kroger & he told me he had a job in the meat department. He went on to say that I wouldn't be cutting any meat but like wrapping stuff. Any clue what this job is? If so, is the job pretty easy?
When it comes to MetLife, all I will say is if you can't say anything good, don't say anything at all !!! I've been off under doctors excuse since October. I have never missed being at work during any of the time I have been off. So long Kroger !
An employee who works on the front end came in to buy something and talk to a department manager who was on the clock. Both of them are very good friends and she stopped in to see how shes been. A supervisor who just clocked in ran straight up to her and said "You can't talk to her if she's on the clock, yo...
Every day I hear these same songs on the radio, so I thought I'd do you all a favor and eliminate a few earworms from your mind... [video=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zDkQqwzn...
this means a lot of unhappy customers due to soaking wet shopping carts. You would think sooner or later Kroger would figure out a way to either build out more and provide more space for their carts or have some giant blower system or something in place. I'm a courtesy clerk about to head into shift today...
So today for some (stupid?) reason, we had a courtesy clerk scheduled for parking lot duty by himself from 1 p.m. - 2 p.m. and another scheduled by himself from 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. I was the lucky one on his own from 2 - 3 p.m. Fortunately, I had some help sent out my way around 2:15 p.m. but not before having encoun...
Had a customer put their dog on my belt the other day and the dog's butth0le was right on it. So my question is should I warn the customers that don't put their produce in a bag that their cilantro, peppers, apples, etc. is right where a dog's butth0le was?
I have been working at Kroger since the end of September 2013. I am the only one in my department (bakery) who makes minimum wage. The 4 people below me in seniority make over minimum wage. So my question is how do I get the experience pay that I deserve. I have prior food service and bakery experience.
A few days ago we got one of those "Customer Connect shops" in the deli. The customer came in "asked" one of our new girls who was closing if we had pre-packaged dinners. According to the report the deli clerk told the customer that she didn't know and to call back the next day. W...
It drives me absolutely nuts! I am constantly getting more and more irritated with how customer care does their job. Their LAZY! I see them talk near the clock, have lots of drinks lying around and basically direct customers to registers. I am getting more and more persistent headaches with hearing t...
I feel like I can't be a floor supervisor any more. There's no point in getting only 1 for every 3 cashiers I need according to the quevision. It's too stressful. There's no upside to being red day after day with these unworkable schedules. our elms are fine so that's not why we fail. i don't know what...
On July 12, 2014 I got terminated from qfc by missing 1 day of work, only their for about 2 weeks. On July18, 2014 I got hired at fredmeyers for cheese knowlege, customer service and taste tester. my question is how long do I have to be at this job before transferring over to QFC?
