So this one bagger who normally does the weekend cleaning started to complain at one point that since the Mon-Fri bagger didn't have to do lot duty then he shouldn't either. A change was made so the Mon-Fri had to. Was that enough? Of course not. He changes the cart schedule to make sure he won't go out. W...
1) Go to http://www.facebook.com/Kroger 2) Click on "Posts to Page" on the left sidebar. 3) Read until you pass out from all the stupidity and entitlement of our glorious customers.
So, first, I just want to explain the situation because the whole thing just seems silly to me; I was bagging for an older gentleman and he was having a conversation with me and the cashier. While I was bagging the last items/putting them in the cart, the man thanks me. I don't quite remember, but I think I...
Ok..I may have a problem..Here's exactly what happened I worked 5-11 pm on Tuesday and 8 am to 3 pm on Wednesday. At the end of my shift on Tuesday, I went to clock out but when I did the inquiry after "clocking out", it said I only worked 2.5 hours. I then thought maybe it didn't clock me out, so I...
Well it's been a week and between getting called up front for surge and our department being way behind, I've only had three meltdowns LOL! Each day I tell myself this is the last day I'm quitting. I'm past the point of exhaustion, my body aches, my hand is swollen and bruised from repetitive motion, a...

Do any Krogers sell dehydrated/freeze dried vegetables? If so, what aisle would they probably be in? I know that all Krogers are different, but I'm not even sure they carry something like this.
So, I was working tonight and I got off at 9pm. I went ahead and clocked out and went to the service desk (which was closed and the CSR was printing out WU summaries and doing other closing duties) because I personally know the CSR at the desk outside of work and I just wanted to chat (I know, dumb and probabl...
We have a group of employees who are always on break and nothing is ever said to them. We have to watch as they parade out the front door to the picnic table for yet another smoke/break while we are told we're not working fast enough. If you grumble about it, you are brought upstairs and subtly threatened w...
Do your stores always freak our when you get in store 'company'? We had the Division VP of Operations walk our sitter the other day. Our unit manager was off. The 2 co's were flipping out. I thought that they were going to roll out the red carpet for them. Do you think that the coordinators and distric...
So today I had a lttle *talking to* by my department head and my comanager about how they think I haven't been working as hard as I should be. I hardly ever take any breaks (sunday i worked 8 hours with no breaks) and always clock in seven minutes early. I guess I'm feeling taken advantage of right now becau...
Well I passed my 1 year mark at Kroger and jut a few weeks after I went on sick leave because I have Juvenile unconvulsive epilepsy and the weather would only trigger these episodes. I have my vacation scheduled in a few weeks but I doubt I'll be back to work by then. Will they still give me my vacation pay or...
I'm a new-er Bagger (been for about 45 days), the Front End Supervisor asked me to take over a shift for another bagger, today would have been a day off. My Question is, how do I clock in since I wasn't on the typed schedule? I know I can get an override or fill out the payroll request sheet? Which is more pre...
When I was about 16 years old I made a mistake and drink a wine cooler at kroger in the bathroom stall and the manager gave me two options either resign not get arrested or get fired and get arrested and he would call the police I sure did not want to get arrested so I chose to resign at kroger and that Manage...
Will anybody miss 408 on peirson rd in flint michigan? it hasn't made any money since 2007? Shut it down! I'm just concerned that it will bring the undesirables to the other kroger stores since it was in the ghetto.
Hi all! I made a huge mistake today and it won't happen again but I was wondering your thoughts on the chance of me getting caught. I just turned 18 and was told to run liqueur break. Three guys come in and have 4 bottles of alcohol. I ask for two of their ids. The one guy says he doesn't have it on him and he wa...
