I needed some days off for my Dad's wedding. Six to be exact. I asked for all of them to be 'off with no pay' and all were approved. i look at my paycheck today... It says I've used a personal holiday... Now, first thing I'm thinking is that I screwed up somewhere and accidentally put in for payed holiday...

Our store mgr got back from a meeting he and others spent the week at and one of the things they talked about was dropping the Union. Has anyone else heard about this? I know our union kinda sucks but i would be more scared not having one at all and being walked all over by managment.

OK So we get customers who call in their orders ahead of time. I Love these customers, because I can prepare what they want without them standing there waiting. We don't put the price stickers on because customers will grab the orders and walk away. We then don't know if it was the customer who ordered it...
