I work in the deli, I currently make $8.05 an hour (minimum wage is $7.25 here). Next week, I was told I am going to be on the front end all week, as a courtesy clerk, and because courtesy clerks don't get up to $8.05, I will only be paid like $7.45 per hour that week. Is that even allowed?
