I was fired for occurences but my department wants to rehire me. They said something about how I would be able to get rehired after 60 days. Is this true? And would DO NOT HIRE be placed on your record if you were fired for the 12 occurences?

Not only does he SUCK but he screwed last Assistant/Secretary and Still has a job. Cost him his marriage...though. I guess as long as you don't get arrested in the park doing it, you get to keep your job!! He also threatens and intimidates his employees. He has LITTLE MAN Syndrom...LOL.
