I find it sad and strange and fkd up, that I---the guy from Wal-Mart, I don't even work for Kroger---has to attempt C.P.R. on this once cool site. Anybody else besides me have any thoughts to share? About anything????? Cool! I thought you might....may the Shwartz be with you!

I worked at kroger from 10/2008 to 03/2011. I quit the company because I saw my situation at the store I just transfered to as no win. I was a top pay for part time.. I am currently a department manager (grocery manager) i have 4 years of experience, does anyone know what i would start off at if i were to go into management? (store manager) Does groery manager experience count towards my starting salary amount? any help would be appreciated....

Got to work today and went to the breakroom and went to clock in and there was no time clock. It was removed and now all employees must use the time clock in the front of the store. Had a note posted on our time clock today from our manager stating that he is "sick and tired" of a majority of employees not staying over or coming in when called. And that if you fall into this category you will not be as likely to receive your requests for time off. Anyone else around here...

Does your store manager reward you all for good results? Ex: Perfect mystery shop, outstanding inventory, or just for the heck of it to let you know they appreciate you? Cook outs, gift certificates....etc... Do YOU feel appreciated at your workplace?

I work for Krogers for 25years, been in many defferent depts and stores throughout the Miami Valley Region. At the store that I'm at now one of the dept mgrs is madly in love with the cosmetitian, this is very deficult for other to work with them!
