I like to use this place to vent, and of course keep a record seperate of my own on how this lady behaves. We had our memorial day picnic today for associates. (Cultural council sponsored) I asked the cake lady last week for either 2 24ct cupcakes or a sheet cake for the picnic. We had hotdogs, hambur...

The following 6 days customers have the option of rounding up to the next dollar to benefit the zoo that way. It's crazy how many custom...

Can a person be fired for looking for another job while still working at kroger? Does the union do anything or can the person still be terminated just for looking for another job.

There's a People of Wal-Mart site; I think there should be a similar one for Kroger! True story------folks, I'm an imaginative guy, but there's some shiit you simply can't make up---: a couple come into the store I shop at. He is white and at least sixty years old; he looks like the Crypt Keeper, only wea...

This happened to me a few years ago. I was at work and an elderly man was having trouble getting an electric cart to go. The people who were working customer care at the time couldn't figure out what was wrong. So they ask me to come take a look. I find out that it wasn't unplugged. But before I could get a word...

I handed my keys and over ride card in tonite with a note saying I want to "step down" from supervising. It's not really stepping down since you're not getting paid any more to do it but I didn't know how else to put it. Things are out of control, unorganized and just plain crappy for me to do it fo...

Ok, ive worked at Kroger now for a month, and have YET to get my first paycheck... while 3 other employees that were hired in at the SAME time as me have now ALL gotten at least one check. Is this normal, or even LEGAL, for them to hold a check over a month?

I was on the front end until I got transferred to another department a while ago. It didn't work out for me so I went back. Fast-forward to now and one of the people in that department went on vacation, got another job, and decided to not come back. Management either doesn't know about it, or they don't car...

I can be working all day without getting a page but it never fails as soon as I go to the restroom I get paged. Now whats up with that? I mean come on this is nuts!

my area has been experiencing major rainfall over the last week or so and the floodwaters appeared as though they might make their way into our store (wish they would honestly, I'd go find a better job). Well you'd think that this would be something that would cry out for support but NOPE not in my FKN di...
