I honestly HATE going into work. I work on the front end at one of the biggest stores on the east coast. My manager ALWAYS has me cleaning bathrooms, most times for 2+ hours. The front end supervisor NEVER has anything nice to say to any of the other people on the front. I have been working here for almost 2 y...
I was tying a bale the other day when our store manager came in and said "You work in the meat/seafood department right?" I said yes and he went on to say "So what do you think you're doing tying bales?" I said uh it was full so I though I had to... Basically he said next time I was caught...
trying to get my 401k set up. I don't know much about them though, and I'm unsure of what percentages to use for each option. Any good suggestions, tips, or guides? Also, does anybody know how much Kroger matches?
I just started working for Kroger. The orientation wasn't very thorough and the training stunk too. They didn't teach me a whole lot of anything and I have no idea how to see or set up and account with this express HR bullcrap. Can anyone help me, pleeeeeease!?
Dear Greedy Corporate Morons; It's time that you rethink your strategies. Your "Customer 1st" motto is a bunch of bunk. The shirts should read "Shareholders First--Customers Maybe". You have taken the most simple of jobs...running a grocery store and turned it into an...

In the 20+ years I've been with Kroger the employees seem to lose more and more with each contract. This is what we've lost so far: Local 227 1. 6 day pay. It used to be you got time and a half on the 6th day if you worked 6 days in one week, regardless if it was over 40 hours or not. 2. End of year bonuses for ful...
I started with Kroger in August 2002 as a 21 year old kid who didn't have a care in the world. It was fine for years as my responsibilities were few and the pay gradually increased. Got married in 09' and things were going fine up until March 2012 when I had to take a medical leave of absence on account of bein...

Sure there are the times everyone wants to take a break at the same time so you kind of have to wait to take yours.....
