Union dues increased?!

Why the hell did my dues increase from 6.50 to 8.00?! I already don't make much 20-30 dollars comes out of my check for taxes + now 8 bucks are coming out for union dues?!

I am going to be on educational leave starting Sunday. I will not be in town on Thursday when we get our paychecks. Will it be mailed to me? Or will I have to come back and get it?

I hear today at work that the store gave away free items out of the private select store brand for associates to try ((sample)) at home in the hopes that we will up sell the brand to the customers. My question here is how would I go about getting in on this?
