Just zero respect for it. The microwave was removed because some one had put a turd in there and turn it on. Needless to say it exploded inside and I couldnt warm up my lunch. Another employee told me this last night.
Due to the general state of disarray, I found myself going from GM clerk to GM manager with everyone hoping I can turn it around after having worked at a different store that ran smoothly. Problems include: * Overflowing repack * Shelves aren't set properly * Load is never getting finished. DDS predic...
My sister has been working at Kroger in produce for over a year. She is not considered a full time employee. Does she get any kind of health insurance?
I generally don't write f-u-ck you posts but here we go as I'm getting sick of these people: Fu-ck you anti mask wears. Stop being dicks and @$$ holes regarding the whole thing. I have run into some rather unpleasant shoppers and well I'm sick of taking your gentle abuse with good humor 6 months of being h...
1. Stop smelling like ASS it's disgusting. 2, See rule number 1 3. Brush your teeth and ass 4. Honor our coupons expired, copied, or multiple coupons of the same item. 5. Bag our food the way we tell you. 6. Stop smelling like marijuana. 7. Answer all questions when asked. 8. Don't tell us to wear masks we d...
Anyone know the # to call about not receiving a check? Changed my direct deposit and I usually get a paper check at work but nothing there. They are no help. Do they mail checks to your home now?
Why would an Instacart card that is swiped not work if the customer had paid on their end? We have had several of these orders not go thru with our cashiers.
So: I have a theory about this Covid so-called 'pandemic'; here it is. I fully expect many or even most of you won't agree, and I'm ready in advance to be flamed. I don't mind in advance. Covid is real; it is making people sick and killing them. True x 3. BUT-------------It is NOT the flying death on greas...
There are several things I am seeing in my store with increasing frequency: 1. Customers coming into the store and INTENTIONALLY spilling things. Sometimes we have 6- 7 major spills in our store during a shift. I don't know if this is a distraction thing for shoplifters or what. 2. Customers loadi...
Old goat comes up to the counter and says, "I get this bread at Costco (there's a red flag right there). It's round and about this thick (holds thumb and finger about a quarter to a half inch apart) and they're packaged two back to back." I told him it didn't sound familiar unless it was pita rounds. It was...
I have been with Kroger for five years and the liberal agenda of Rodney Mcmullen is unsettling to me. I do not like the "Zero Hunger Zero Waste" virtue signaling. The Conscious Conversations are nothing short of inflammatory for everyone. In fact, as I work in a Republican neighborhood, we did not dis...
This is f-ing ridiculous...she said a customer can tell you are smiling by your eyes. I told her I can't see her face anyway because of the masks we wear. If this is the most important thing Kroger is worried about their priorities are in the wrong place. I also failed one too for the same reason. My face, m...
An employee who works in the same department I currently work in took an extended leave in May because he had to have surgery on his knee due to his injuring it while at work. Now he wants to return to work. What is Kroger's policy regarding any employee returning to work after an extended leave?
1, Don't come in my store with an EBT card and buy $40 boxes of crab legs. This should not be allowed! 2. Stop asking for everything (even one item!) to be double-bagged. 3. Stop asking the bagger to tie your bags-that is YOUR job! 4. Don't come in my store reeking of marijuana!!!!! 5. Do SOMETHING about yo...
I was just curious about how to handle clicklist in the deli. When you are the only clerk and have a lot of customers at the counter (at least 3 or more) and a lot of clicklist orders due at one time, and the clicklist clerks are waiting, which comes first? I have been told both - counter comes first and cli...
"My Fantasy" (as a Kroger employee who is SICK AND TIRED of thoughtless customers who CONSTANTLY leave stuff in random places all over the store) :Imagine that by some theoretical, top-secret magic, EVERY TIME a customer leaves a grocery item in a completely inappropriate place, such as a packag...
