Does anyone know if we can use personal days in January from the following year? I feel like Ive heard tell of people doing it. I just had my last two cancelled due to someone quitting so Im just curious since Im going to a wedding in January and at this point Id rather save the personal days for that.
3 managers out the door in one week. 2 co managers and the front end manager. We have a new district manager. Anyone have any idea of what is going on?
if you clock out as a lunch and clock back in after 8 minutes, does that register as a 15-minute lunch (15 minutes deducted from your check)? i know from personal experience that a (lunch) clock out of 7 minutes or less deducts no time. i also know 45-minute lunches are a thing and i'm asking because i'm tr...
ok, so if i work at kroger, in the pharmacy, and i would like to leave a disapproving comment about my co-workers or managers, would they be able to tell who i was by looking me up in the system (i'm not asking if they could logically figure out who i was)? if the answer to that is yes, and my relative has a krog...
hey, so i applied recently for a pharmacy tech position which opened up on friday night. i personally view myself as a good candidate (getting a degree in the medical field, open availability, quick learning). i also started doing research on passing the certification test and started taking pract...
They kinda hyped themselves up in my interview today. Better than walmart, we're union, you can move up etc etc I've been desperate for work so I didn't ask all that much but what can I expect? I'm in Arkansas. Any good benefits during/after the 60 day trial period? I've worked in grocery stores before...
I have been working for Kroger for about 2 years. I was just recently "trained" for bakery. I got one day for observation and after that was expected to know what to do. The next 2 training days I was the one being observed. I bake 2 nights a week. I'm still not sure what I'm doing. I get told every time I bake t...
Woman came in and asked the MOD if she "could leave some information"-turns out she went into our breakroom and dumped a bunch of JW garbage in there. I recognized her as she tried to lure me in (said it was a New Year's party at a hotel I looked it up it was a JW recruitment event.) When I told her she couldn't...

Self Checkout is 15 items or less. Im trying to understand why do my managers keep saying pull the line even if I already have a line or the people to pull have way over 15 items. Its some illiterate customers that come in our store, period ! I dont have time to babysit one customer because they cant underst...
I'm in the Mid-Atlantic division, have heard rumors of an upcoming change in our bookkeeping department where we come in, balance tills, and everything else gets taken care of by the district accountants so the bookkeeper would just work office or whatever the rest of the day. Supposedly they're tr...
Does it really matter? I had a customer wanting one for his beer. I didn't have any at my drawer and I told him just keep the receipt, it doesn't matter. He practically threw a fit, demanding that he get one. He went to all the other cashiers, one by one, until he got one.
The other day at work I heard a oldies song that I havent listened in awhile and ever since I've tried listening to the songs more carefully, all I can hear which sounds like a guy and a girl and at the same time they sing "we had it all"
