I've noticed some of the cashiers who run the Uscan at my store have their own override numbers that I've seen them use. Of course, they don't need a key to use them at the Uscan only at a register. But then again, these same cashiers know how to run the service desk, so that probably explains why they have o...
we're nearing the end of 2017 which means that we all have endured another year working for these schmucks! how are your stores doing money wise/managerial wise/employee wise/etc? my store's grocery back room has been a disaster for weeks and i don't see it getting better. the trucks are packed and...
The future is not looking good for kroger in my opinion, do you guys seriously think kroger will still be in business in the next 15 to 20 years? or what if kroger decides to sell it to another company? god forbid not walmart.
Instead of raising a stink about how passive/aggressively nasty my immediate co-workers are to me, I decided to throw in the towel and give my 2 weeks notice. Things were getting really uncomfortable and the few times I hinted that there was a problem, I was blown off. One woman in particular made no b...
How do I go about buying Kroger Common Stock through the company? I went to yourkrogerbenefits. com and through some searching found a link to comptershare that apparently handles the stock. It asks for a global id and password which I apparently dont have. Just looking to buy shares but can't figu...
Hello everyone! Now, I was let go from Kroger today, on Day 19 since my orientation date (August 24, 2017.) I'm honestly quite a bit confused as to why, but seeing as Indiana is an 'at-will employment' state, and I was within my Probationary period, there's really not much I could do. I was in Click-List...
Been trying to transfer to a new Kroger due to moving. The process has taken three months now, and still haven't started at a new one. First person I talked to convienently took a vacation before bothering to send my paperwork. Now I'm supposedly waiting on one more signature. Literally going to run ou...
A customer came through my line today and got two packs of some sort of vitamin. She was perfectly friendly for the first part of the transaction, and we had a conversation about the pretzels from the bakery. It then came time to pay and she said the vitamins were supposed to be buy one get one free. Sure en...
Back story/long story short: Short hours, much packaging for the cookie promos we have going on, and as usual behind as hell in bakery. Will add that our chronic complainer from the deli came down wanting a cake for her baby shower. Cool, thought she wanted to order one. Nada, she wanted to see if I could...
I don't know these things... I'm not a manager or stocker... So what exactly am I supposed to say to a customer that asks me such questions when I'm walking through the isles to go on my break? I mean, if they ask where bread or eggs are, yeah, I can tell them that. But if they have Jimmy Dean gourmet vanilla e...
I am a former employee for Kroger. I quit on good terms 6 months ago and moved to a new city. Now I am trying to get hired at the store in my current city (have a interview lined up) and I am wondering and hoping that I will start here with the same pay scale as I left off at. Like the pay steps will be the same becau...
So I've been working as a grocery clerk for a few months now and I'm kind of known around the store as the clerk who can be spotted filling just about anything from dairy to home goods. However, my real interest lies in Click List, is it possible to somehow request a transfer to be a Click List employee or am...
I don't just mean store managers, I mean department heads too. Their associates talk crap about them behind their backs and they reward them. The ones that talk the most crap get rewarded. In fact you don't even have to do it behind their backs, you can do it to their face and get rewarded.
At first I thought our F.E.S. (Front End Supervisor) was a friendly person but his true personality quickly showed. He's bitter, snips, some what rude. He does it all professionally but goodness it's like dealing with a constant complainer. He finds a new pet peeve every week/few days to complain ab...
She's probably around 22 years old. And I know she's been with Kroger for two years. Which brings a few thoughts to my mind. I didn't know there was an "assistant" position for a CSM. How hard must she have worked to get this far.... She's 22 and an ACSM, so that means by the time she's 30, she'll be store man...
So I work at Kroger and I put in a request off day and got denuded for a seniority conflict but no one else requested that day off but a few days before this a co worker with higher seniority said I was being mean to him and another co worker when in reality he was the one who locked me in the cooler why could this...
I was trying to punch in the code for a red onion today "4669 ENTER", but since a customer was trying to punch in their Kroger Plus card at the same time, the register glitched, and only got "69 ENTER". I didn't realize it until it had already went through, but it rang up as "EW DON'T SCAN ME". I showed it to...
So that they can pay half on one card and the other half on the other, but, you can't do math in your head to figure out the exact number? But they can, and then they silently look at you like you're an idiot.
