I just left after 4 months. I was told there that I was "vacation eligible" after 12. Am I eligible for any vacation pay or personal day pay in the wake of leaving? Also, they never paid me 5.5 hours of over-time pay after 2 months of begging and inquiring. How can I get that? Thank you for any i...
I received an email from the Union that I will be receiving this form so I can fill out my tax forms. It is proof that I had insurance. Does anyone know anything about this form? I got my W2 yesterday but no 1095-B yet. -- Edited by Anonymouse1 on Tuesday 2nd of February 2016 07:47:44 AM
I really wanted to like it at Kroger. It was close to home, I knew and liked some of the workers there, it was a "retirement job" of sorts. And I kept an open mind going in. But after only 4 months of working close to 40 hours at $8.10 and hour and closing the deli along with one other person until al...
Hello I am new to this site, but I have been a working bagger at Kroger for about a year and a half now. During that time I have been doing my best at my job, but I won't deny I have had to call out due to illness/injury/etc. I have just recently discovered that I am completely and hopelessly accident prone....
Are there any specific dates or holidays (Christmas, 4th of July, Easter, Spring Break, etc) that are blacked out for clerks? I've never been informed of these and I've seen other employees take the weeks for Christmas and Thanksgiving off so I think know but I'm not 100% sure.
I work in a Boar's Head deli and we make way too many sandwiches every morning. At night I have to throw away at least ten sandwiches, at the most forty sandwiches. We record how many sandwiches are being thrown away at night but they never seem to change the endless number of sandwiches they make in the mo...
So, I was hired, but I haven't started yet. I'd love to read the local union contract before my orintation. I've already read through a few other local unions to get a glimps of what to expect but I know they're not all the same. The Kroger area I'll be working in is Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. Any ot...
someone put out these 'vote to strike' flyers out at our store last week and over the weekend management was walking around trying to collect them. Is that them trying to prevent info on a potential strike from getting out or them getting rid of 'unofficial' flyers/notices?
Hi. I'm wondering how long it took you to get a call back after your drug test and background check? I interviewed a week ago and still haven't gotten a call.
I been training with krogers for almost two weeks and now I get a call from the lab saying I tested posting for marijuana and now it's up to the employer what happens next. I still haven't got a call and have to go out to a training center tomorrow. Anyways, am I fired?
i went to work today only to be told that a customer complained because i burped. i wasn't even around them. some people really will complain about anything. -- Edited by firedreams on Wednesday 27th of January 2016 05:16:17 AM
I'm pretty new at Kroger (about a month and a half) and I requested this Sunday off for a rehearsal, but the date of the rehearsal got changed to Wednesday. It's for a grade and I NEED to be there. Could I just call the service desk and ask to talk to my scheduling manager to tell him I need to change the reques...
I'm a courtesy clerk. I know usually cashiers do it, but I knew I asked for more hours and my manager let me do it. It's all I've basically been doing for the last three weeks. I did it for eight hours today from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.. I have like 500 fuel points and my name is constantly being mentioned. Now my store...
I talked to a co-manager about how do employees get a discount on getting a vehicle. I was told that I would get the info as soon as I turned in my vacation time. How does all of this exactly fit together?
