I recently qualified for Health Insurance. And got both a Health Insurance Card and Prescription Drug card in the mail. However! That was about two weeks ago, and they've yet to take any money of of my check so... How do I know if and when I can use my insurance? On top of that, it keeps saying on my page abo...
For the last 9 months or so, we've had a whole new management team. The new Store Manager has a reputation for cutting hours. Well with the holidays coming up, not only has our store not hired any extra help, they've cut hours even though we're heading into the busiest time of the year. Hours on the fro...
Hours are so low on the front end at my store that one employee didn't get any hours this week, but was placed on call. This employee has been calling everyday to see if they are needed and they get told no everyday, that we don't have the hours. I could see this if sales were low, but were busier than ever....
I was unloading my cart and told the cashier I needed cigs. He told me to go get them and just stood there. I kept unloading my cart and he called down to register 2 and asked the cashier down there to bring him the cigs. I finally walked down there to get them myself and that cashier said they were out. I t...
I work in Drug/Gm and have been made to hang tags for our department. I have made it clear that I do not want to work those type of hours (usually 10p-6a or 12a-8a), but I am just told because no one else is fast enough or good enough at hanging them that I have to do it. Why should I be punished because I am good...
Does any other division do this crap like Cincy/Dayton does? Every time you get someone in the store that people actually like they get the bright idea to switch them around. I've only had my manager for less than a year and they're sending her to another store, ie "a bigger and better store"...
ive been at Kroger since July and so far I've called off twice, once due to illness and i've provided a doctors note. How many excused/unexcused absences do you get before they terminate you? Also, I'm in the cincinnati and Dayton area Union so does the absence depend on what union youre apart of?
Is it OK for a Krogrr store to use the break room as a storage space and dumping ground for, for example, broken down electric carts? Bulletin boards with posted information are in there, but associates can't get much closer than five feet away due to the permanent presence of sample carts, display rac...
I've noticed my local Kroger doesn't call for surge help anymore. Lines are long, one lane open. They took down all the "fastest checkout" signs and most days the Q Vision TV's are turned off. Every time I shop there now (which is as little as possible), there's yet another new floor supe...
I just started working at kroger last Wednesday as a overnight stocker as a 2nd job and my store manager is stressing me out so bad. First night was good but the following nights were hell all the other new guys have quit. The store manager messed up the schedules so I ended up working on my day off. I got no t...
I don't know if anyone else has it in their stores, but it's basically where we package up deli meat we slice in the morning in bags and put it out in a case for customers to get so that they don't have to stand in line if they don't want to. It has to be done within 2 hours. On weekdays it's fine, we usually get i...
Kroger trains managers to lie and bully employees this is thesecondtime my department head has gotten my hopes up only to find out its not true it does not feel good and he is going to be a market manager Kroger is like a bully #520
Recently all the cashiers at my store had to go through a """class""" about our "new" produce policy, which is that we can't type in produce anymore, and must scan it. It is something that our store gets graded on by the corporate ****s. Basically... in a n...
