So 3 days ago I went to the job "interview" where you fill out the application and do the saliva drug test; at the end they told me and two other people that they would hit us up with the date of the orientation. But this morning I got an email saying that I was hired and it told me to check out their o...

My store mgr. loves to talk to employees like crap on the sales floor with customers in ear shot. She did it to me the other day with a customer 3 feet away and I was off the clock! I scanned out a shipper of product that had 14 day shelf life and I found it behind other stuff in our grocery back room. It was alrea...
does anyone else just hate shopping for food after working at kroger? because i hate doing it. i will order takeout go to the gas station anywhere other than the krogers to get food. even dollar general and walmart. also i can eat chicken anymore because of the fried chicken at work. is it just me?
So much for being in the 21st-century. I was informed as of tomorrow they will be removing the UPC's from the receipt and the monitors. I personally think they could have formatted it better so that it shows the sale price like it did before instead of showing it at the end. That's what Kroger want so wha...
Any tips for learning the customer service booth? I'm trying to move upward in the company and the next step is backup csm. It seems kind of intimidating because it's always so busy, and during peak hours (1ish-6ish are he busiest times at my store) there's usually only one person(from4-8 the closing...
Sorry for the long post This is the issue: I am a produce clerk, and our produce manager doesn't do anything. He texts all day, talks on the phone, and hits on every single woman he sees. This is how it always has been with him, ever since he came to the store. Everyone in the store knows how he is, he doesn't...
Hello everyone! My name is Rachel. I recently started working for Kroger as a Pharmacy Clerk, although I haven't started my training yet. I am still doing the CBL's (about eighteen hours worth!), but I haven't worked in a while and I am a little bit nervous. I am not really sure what my duties would be or w...
Yesterday a woman fell in the produce section. Everyone around came to her aid except management. They were in a meeting upstairs. They were paged over and over again and no one showed up. Finally, the guy who does all the safety inspections just happened to be in the store and he took care of it. Th...
I am in dire need of help. My first day was terrible. Apparently the floor managers/supervisors of the front end hate being called for when you need help so I came here to ask here. How do you do both WIC transactions? How do you enter coupons in cash register if they won't scanWhat do you do if register say...
Does anyone know why we are getting rid of i-Wireless? We got a memo saying that we're no longer selling the phones at any Kroger marketing area and to pull them all, but no explanation. I haven't seen anything online... you'd think there would be some kind of news article if a giant retailer was shuttin...
Private selection is very hit-or-miss for me. Their ice cream is pretty good, but their mason jar desserts are not worth the $3, they're basically glorified pudding and the jar doesn't even have a proper lid so no reusing it. I also didn't like their vegetable lasagna. Today though I bought some lemon...
i forgot how to use a personal day. i know that you go online and do it on great people but is that it. will they pay you money for a personal day or is there another step?
