Hi everybody. I'm just going to jump right into it. I am a Back-up Lead in my store's Grocery department (night shift stocker)and upon coming back from vacation I noticed on HR Express that not only my position has been changed to Grocery Clerk, but also my pay has been reduced to the default amount I wa...
So I was told by a little birdie that KROGER policy is that you have to tell someone you are recording them. I know that each state has its own individual little statutes and what nots on recording and how the laws work. In Georgia I think I don't have to tell someone. But I was told if I recorded someone base...
Has anyone here ever been involved in one of these programs or have any information about them? I am a newly promoted produce backup and I am going to do this training at some point, idk when exactly. I'm hoping to get a head position in my district. I was also wondering if being willing to travel out of tow...
I filed a grievance for not being payed correctly when i got promoted to a lead a month ago and haven't heard anything. I called a couple times to follow up and the rep said he's working on it and will let me know. Does anyone know how long it takes for them to resolve issues? Jesus
Tomorrow will mark my 16th year with Kroger. I can't believe it has been that long. I never imagined staying for a career. Only 26 more years until I have finished my sentence and can be paroled/retire.
We got a new manager in our deli and since she's been here, we've run out of things a lot sooner than we should. For example, we ran out of Kowalski cole slaw (we sell oodles of that on a daily basis) and the truck wasn't due for another few days. We had a customer come in and complain because we ran out of it. ...
Just wondering. I was hired as a cashier but I'm usually never actually a cashier, I work drug gm a lot and sometimes I help the scan coordinator. When I was hired they said I was guaranteed 16 hours at front end, so if I had 2 full shifts with drug gm and one half shift with the scan coordinator shouldn't I ge...
I have a few questions regarding sick days. Are you only allowed just three instances within a 90 day period? I called in sick today because I have a cold, but I also have jury duty next week and I'm also scheduled to have dental surgery a month from now. Would jury duty count as an instance or would it be exc...
I went into my local Krogers the other day to buy some chips for a party. They redid the whole store layout and I couldn't find anything! I couldn't find any employees to help me either! So I had to go to the meat department to get help. But the butcher was helping someone with steaks, so I had to WAIT FOR 3 M...
I went to my store on my day off yesterday to pick up a prescription, but since my new doctor is closer to the store I got there before it was ready. Since I had a few minutes to spare I went over to see what was going on in the deli. Wish I hadn't. I see that the lady who opened was in a grouchy mood and the lady do...
So just got my background check packet in the mail and the grade had a flag not clear for hire, so does that mean I failed? Or do I still have a chance. I've heard of people getting a flag saying do not hire so why I'm wondering if I had a chance?
A few months ago i got moved to a different department and got a raise and then i got moved back to a bagger .and they took my raise are they aloud to do that.
Time and time again on this forum people ask for advice and it's difficult to help without knowing your contract. If you join the union, get a copy of the contract. Learn the contract. If you have questions ask your store steward. You cannot expect Kroger to abide by the contract, it's not convenie...

Louisville workers rejoice! Still holding on to spousal coverage, more insurance options for PT, no pension cuts, raises across the board. Good Raises across the board the entire length of contract and no big contract language changes. This on top of that $1 per-hour worked "make it right&qu...
Management wanted me to take a trial run on the pricing team. I currently work on the front end as a bagger in my store but I asked management if I can do both at the same time for more hours and they said yes. Any experiences on the pricing team? From what I understand the department is relatively easy.
