My managers were not happy lol We already had two recent quitters and I found a better job, even though it's a temporary one. I put my notice in and all night the managers were telling me how they think this new job has nothing on Kroger and I have a bright future with them and crap. Gee, maybe if they treat th...
Last Sunday during our busiest time of day our store manager was chatting on the perimeter of the sales floor with another store manager who was shopping. This lasted about 20 minutes all the while he didn't say hi to other customers. Today we get a nasty email saying we didn't say enough hi's to ou...
I like working at the deli but sometimes I feel that my manager is only looking out to see what I do wrong instead of paying more attention to what I do right..
They're in the final planning & permit grabbing stages of bringing the areas first marketplace store, which will be located 13 miles from my current work place, supposedly with a late 2016/early 2017 grand open goal. The store I'm in now is small, relative. We do a little over 500 a week, and all...
Hello, I have recently transferred departments, and have needed several things from my AA, one of them being essential for me to actually do my job. My AA has "tried" to help, but seems to be too incompetent to help, since it's been almost 2 months and still nothing has been done. I speak to my...
i made another post recently about availability issues. my supervisor always puts me down for hours that are outside of my availability. i asked her if she could shift my hours to another time. she said that she couldn't. i did not come in because i could't miss my prior obligations. then i get question...
I've officially been on the phone waiting for close to an hour trying to call into work sick. No one is answering any of my calls, and I don't have my supervisors number. I've been throwing up since 4:30 this morning (so roughly two hours), and since another person I'm living with has strep or the flu (som...
Have any of you ever had a customer that was on a cellphone talk about you negatively to the person on the other end of the line right in front of you? If so, how did you handle it, and how should I handle it next time it happens?
I work as a courtesy clerk, grunt, slave, whatever you call it, I've been there for about a year now and all i do is the same thing day after day; lot duty, sweeps, bag, go backs. Every. Friggin. Day. The only "change" is that I may have sweeps or lot duty first. That's it. I'd like to do something...
At my store, we the front end are never informed about anything until last minute or after the fact. Our coupon policy changed and its still unclear to a lot of us. Our store isn't that big but alot of people are picking up extreme couponing and its driving us crazy. They changed the coupon policy to acce...
I bought some organic bananas about 10 days ago. Second day I had them I saw fruit flies swarming all over the kitchen cabinet. I threw them out. I still have them in the kitchen. I've put out flie traps, cleaned everything, made sure no dishes left in sink with food etc. I can't get rid of those litt...
Hi, So i tryed to login to my Kroger email bit it keeps giving me this error "Host Checker is not supported. Please contact your Administrator". What dose it mean???
Apparently I got a whopping zero on a recent secret shopper. I helped them with everything, walked to product, wasn't rude, etc, but I failed to acknowledge them. What that means is I don't proactively say "Hello" to everyone (Even the family that was in the middle of a discussion among the...
