I don't know about other Meat Departments, but it always seems like alot of the Seafood Managers are bitches. I had to be in Seafood for 2 days and had to setup the counter. I've only done it maybe 3 times so far. Well, shes mad because I got the overtime in my department and told me "im gonna earn that m...

I was just wondering if all the Kroger stores are doing this. Every hour on the hour a manager will get on the PA system and say " All department heads rebound your department" meaning to condition and straighten up. We are doing this in West Virginia stores. A memo came down from our zone mana...

File Maintenance Clerks are crazy, and I think they pick people that fill the position that are completely insane. The first one I worked with was cranky, hated all of humanity and just didn't care. He'd curse Kroger, management and everyone else. He got written up for cursing out a department head, c...

I train in the front office this week, excited as I am to finally learn something new. The only thing that really I don't want to be around is Western Union. It seems difficult and extremely easy to mess up. Is it really as bad as it seems? And the thought of having my own override to fix things instead of cal...

I wish there was the idea of a "Demo Coordinator", a person who goes around the store to show how to do a successful demo and increase sales in doing it. I've done that with a few of the employees at my store on how to sell their demo. I was on break and I was watching my coworker demo out guacmole. S...

This is a rant about a rude customer. I was off work today. I went to get my check and then went to deposit it. I went back by the store took my laptop in to starbucks. A lady was sitting by me. I was talking to one of my co-workers. We were not loud at all. This lady did have headphones in her ear. She said "y...

Had a Question regarding this useless piece of nonsense. How do they base off the case count per hour? Like their formula. I dont remember typing in my BMI(body mass index), height, and health conditions into the system where it pulled out such an exaggerated piece number. Ive always got the "N&...

It happens in the bakery too, but the deli is way way worse, it's managed horribly unlike any other , the regular employees just keep on task and get everything done for them. Delegating task should not be belittling employees. A lot of time you can plainly see that managers will only team up with one...

Back when I started working for Kroger I was a lonely virgin. Then I met the Head Dairy Clerk. I watched him everyday, how he would flirt with all the MILF's and lonely housewives that came through his department. He took me under his wing and taught me how to pick up hot women. We started hanging out and go...

I was wondering if anyone could help me out here. I live in a non right to work state, but I have no desire to be part of a union. Now with my store they don't make you join the union when you are hired, they make the union mail us paperwork like a month later. I know this because I worked here before and that is wh...

Ours is lousy. With her, having good bread is the exception rather than the rule. Stuff is either overproofed or underproofed. It's usually underbaked except for the sweet goods which she burns and then tries to cover up with icing. The only time the bread looks good is when she goes on vacation a...

The store management at store #130 are greedy. They take their sweet petty time to work on getting the proper supplies we need in order to do our job efficiently. They're so stingy about supplies that we always have to order off the shelves. Our sales are always booming around the holidays. You tell me,...
