For some unknown stupid reason someone has decided that all the deli/bakery employees need to take the cbt training on how to operate a power jack and a forklift. Even the old ladies have to take the training. How ridiculous is that? The deli manager wasted an hour learning the ins and outs of opera...

I'm moving to Nashville in the next few months and am planning on transferring to a Kroger store (I work at one currently) until I can get a better job on lock. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with the stores in the city, either from customer or employee point of view, specifically in the east...

Hi, quick question. If I'm scheduled to work a very early morning shift (6 AM), when should I call management to let them know that I'm sick and won't be coming in? I understand the rule normally would be 2 hours before my shift starts, but it's so early that nobody would be there. Thank you.

Ok, so I worked at a Kroger in TX back in mid 2009, was only there for a few months. I was in the Deli, I got frustrated with one of the worst customers Ive ever dealt with, even to date. Anyway, I slammed one of the sliding glass doors where the meats and cheeses are displayed, cracking the glass. (yes, I real...

I keep getting a bill and phone calls for an injury that happened a year and a half ago. I fell while helping a courtesy clerk bring in buggies and suffered a concussion. It happened on a Holiday weekend. When I went back in the store and talked to the manager, when she asked me how I was, I told her I thoug...
