I work in the meat dept in DFW and after 12 weeks I averaged 36 hrs a week so the way the contract reads I should get full time.I was told it would take up to 2 weeks for it to process.I make 9.65hr now and the way the contract reads I should bump up to 12.65hr so I was wanting to know if I'm right and how does it work...

So anyway, I was wondering, when someone voluntarily switches departments, they go on the bottom of the list senority wise for the new department they chose to go to, no matter how long they've been with the company, right? That's normally what happens at my store anyway unless they're forced to swit...

Do you get paid for orientation and training? we were told we were,in total for those 3 days I was in there for 16hrs.So far ive received 2 checks and its for 16hrs.the bad thing is the extra 8hrs i got paid for were not for those days.apparently time goes in sat and since i worked sat i got paid just for 1 day....

I heard from a fellow employee that Walmart sold "Key Retailing" for 1.2 billion dollars. Has anyone else heard about this as well? She said it wasn't going so well for them, so they sold the program to us.

Ive been recently hired but none of the managers seem to want to sign me up for orientation classes, its starting to bug me a little bit i passed all the background checks, and drug tests

I don't understand how Kroger can justify hiring more people while cutting the hours of full-time cashiers to less than 40 a week. I also don't understand why there are so many errors in the way the computer does the scheduling. Every week people with less senority are scheduled to come in earlier th...

a fellow employee told me that if you want to transfer to another store they have to honor your request. He said, yea at first they will say no but all you have to do is say we will let the union decide. You can choose the store.

I don't think Kroger should be able to tell me no to my 2nd amendent right to possess a gun in the workplace. barry forrest is one of the worse manger in dit 10 dallas forth worth southwest. he belevies in bulling and tear you down is the way to go. went to the dit manger and he lie to him he said the we were upset at the new que vision thing. now we need to find out are next step.
