Saw something posted by the time clock yesterday: A letter from a safety coordinator with a message of how the union was spreading false information for employees not to sign the new "safety policy" because it was signing away workers compensation. Attached was a sign from the UFCW that ...

This may be the first and only time I will ever say this, but I think there may be something to Quevision that maybe we didn't see. For those who don't shop at Wal-Mart, Ole Wally is now matching coupon policies of competitors. In addition, Wal-Mart is also giving back the over-amount on coupons (Examp...

OMG! The going-ons at store 408 are incredible! Unefenbelievable! And it only gets worse with the new managaer who can't see his a** from a hole in the ground. He locks himself in his office barking orders. Won't give you the time of day. Wait! there's more.

It has occured to me on more than one occasion, that the union associates are missing an opportunity that could put Kroger in their place about ELMS. You know how they always say, you get x number of hours for sales, or tonnage or whatever. Well guess what, has anyone asked them to PROVE it?? I guarante...

I work for Kroger and have been having a hard time at the Store I work at. I had a few concerns and talked to my Manager about them and the Manager went stright to the person I was talking about and told the person(so much for trust in Management). There is a Dept. Head at the store that works when they want as m...

This just happened a short time ago. . . I had just parked and had made maybe twenty strides to the front door when I hear "Hey---excuse me, pleeeeese?" Across the way is an obese young black female standing next to a brand new Cadilac Escolade. Here's the following dialog: Her: "I am NO...

If management is working fewer people than alotted hours for bonuses, then why can't the attitude of tired and stress workers reflect their bonus, I am sure customers do not like confronting with disgruntal workers.

So I heard this story that one time a third shifter came in for his shift one night and was all mad about something and was yelling at the manager and was pissed the whole night about something. The other workers just let him be the whole night. The mad guy was in charge of stocking all the canned goods and ju...

Came into work today after two days in a row off. When I went to take out the trash the dumpster door was locked. The letter posted on it stated that due to a company wide trash study and shrrink issues trash may only be taken out at certain times. If it needs taken out at different times a member of managem...

Might come off as a rant One of the grocery 1st shift stockers (a veteran with about 10 years in) hurt his lower back (allegedly) and got put on a 5 pound Weight Restriction. I catch the bus to work everyday and my supervisor has been scheduling me to work until closing time at 1:00 am in the morning. The buses stop running at 11:00 so I have been walking home by myself, which is extremely dangerous for woman even if it is a 15 minute walk. Is there anything that can be done about...

I am new to this site but need to voice how disappointing it is to see a company appear to do a good thing by hiring handicapped employees only to see them verbally harass and humiliate them. Shame on them, and shame on you who participate in the harassment or allow it to continue unchecked.

King Soopers ( a division of Kroger) is union. If I transfer to a Kroger store in another state that is also union why do I lose my seniority?

My store has had an issue with Telxon disappearances. We have lost 3 in less than two years. What does your stores do to keep track of them?

barada · Anonymous

If an employee wants to transfer to another department or another store can management say no? I want to transfer out of the deli but have told I'm too valuable an employee. So in other words, I'm being penalized for being a good worker?
