so I've been working at Kroger for a month now and they stress to notify customers of the survey. I do so with every customer. one of the girls even told me we get a $5 GC or something if they do it and it's highly satisfied. So how do I know when they do so and I get a good review? How do I get paid From that?
we're always short-handed and it's not just because the hours aren't there. Occasionally everyone will have 40 and the dept will still have hours to spare with nobody to give them to. "can't have overtime" I guess they don't understand that if we had, say 30 extra hours to play with, a worker could h...
I just recently joined the local union 540 when they alerted me about being screwed over out of pay for almost a year (Kroger owes me some retro pay checks, lol), and just discovered that the union also gives lots of discounts and coupons to their members. However, upon checking out the union's web site...
I would like to make a formal complaint regarding the scheduling of the Deli Department. We have had a change in management and I have the most seniority in the entire department but I am being put on 4 nights out of the 5 nights I am scheduled to work. I am aware of the new contract (my husband has 3 degree...
I hate the fact that even if I'm more qualified, a higher paying position will be filled by someone who has been there longer, even if they're from another kroger location (and even if they suck at their job), and I still wind up doing more work with less pay. Recently, a position opened up in my departmen...
What is the official policy on this? I know you're expected to be on time at clock-in but is there anything rule/guideline that states anything similar to "after x amount of times being late you're written up/suspended/terminated" ? I can't find anything. There are days I get there early...
Does anyone who works in a bakery department bake telera rolls? We got in 3 cases of them and don't know what to do with them. We have the parbaked La Brea ones that the customer takes home and finishes baking in their oven but these are raw dough that has to proofed and baked. They look like jumbo hanbu...
Scenario: clerk works most nights on grocery crew, but on wednesday is scheduled in file maintenance to hang tags. Question: Does the grocery manager have the authority to take the clerk off file maintenance and work grocery instead?
I remember my first day exactly 6 years ago last saturday....uhhh I mean 10 years ago (I'd hate to narrow it down too much!). I remember what it was like, it wasn't horrible, but it was completely new to me. In comparison, what do you think new people these days, who get a job (lucky them) see when they co...
If you work in the mid south division, do you ever walk into work and think **** THIS **** **** THESE PEOPLE **** THIS GOD FORSAKEN PIECE OF **** COMPANY?
so I flipped another cashier off today's because he was pushing my buttons and testing me. He's an ass. i didn't get in huge trouble or written up but I did get an SRI. How do yall manage and deal with ******* customer especially if u wanna get into manageMeet yourself.
Hey everybody, I'm curious about how many days of did everyone typically get when they first started working at their particular branch of Kroger? I ask cause I think I'm either losing days because I'm coming up on my second month of 60 days of probation and instead of having the usual 3 days a week off th...
I have been working at kroger for about 8 months now and I had work one day but I was sick as a dog, barely able to lift my head up to throw up so calling in never crossed my mind till I remembered due to a reminder in my phone for 15 minutes prior to punching in so I quickly called in and my manager said it's an inpr...
I went to the website and changed my availability to where I wanted it for the who-knows-how-many times. Anyone want to bet on if it will actually stay that way for more than a week? LOL!
