Hello, I have been working at Kroger since August of 2015. I work at SW327. About 5 months ago I requested to be moved from Bakery to Deli in order to receive the 10 cent raise I was promised by my co-workers and management. This was taken care of immediately. After a month I asked why I hadn't received it. I...
I was 23 at the time. I pushed carts. they had me push carts for longer periods of time in the heat than they said i would be and the kids would play games about when to switch from carts to bagging. my fellow cart pushers were high school kids. it was depressing. one time i left a few carts behind a lady's car b...
I've been floating from department to department recently, pretty much bailing out different departments as they need me, and I'm noticing the same trend every time I get moved to a new department. I'll start off stocking, looking at the dates as I do, and wind up finding product that expired last yea...
Our store has issues with turnover and vacations whenever managers chase a kid off they just schedule the other part timers from any department in the store they can. Along with the fact our store has a lot of 20-30+ year vets so lots and lots of vacations. So now my question is even if the part timer asks t...
So working as an overnight stocker, I thought we were supposed to get 50 cents every hour worked. I work 40+ hours a week, but I only get like $5 dollars for the night premium. I also only seem to be getting compensated for 29 to 30 hours, despite me being a full time worker? The told me Saturday's pay would g...
I know this forum is meant for employees and not customer, but seriously, people need to stop leaving coupons for other customers. i am trying to condition my aisles and I am constantly finding coupons that people have left behind for other customers. Does it really give you a good samaritan boner by l...
our store lost power at 10am and didn't regain power until 615pm because a couple of squirrels got into the transformer and got barbecued. and then people where pissed because the uscans wouldn't work until 730pm. but the lanes were open all the lanes. also are fuel center never did reopen today becau...
I started out as a night stocker making 9.65 an hour plus .50 for working at night. then the store manager said how would you like working in meat? I said I had to think about it. Next thing I know, my schedule is during the day time and I'm in the meat department without even agreeing to it. I actually still m...
Hi all, new guy here what I'm about to describe I know isnt a common problem, but it's very real for me and embarassing and I wanted some feed back from yous. Im having a problem with my Kroger uniform because the size is right, medium, but, well, I'm kinda a irregular fit below the belt if you know what I mea...
I hate when I get put on an express lane. Those lanes just piss me off more than anything. It takes SO much longer to ring and bag at the same time. Plus, there isn't very much room to even bag. Also, there's those customers that don't know how to take their bags so I run out of bags because they're all full. Wh...
They moved me from courtesy clerk to a utility clerk sometime in December or January. I'm still doing everything that a courtesy clerk does, though. I only have like 10 more points until I get to my next job step in Express HR. My hire date was August 25. I wanna be moved to cashier so bad.
I know I may sound spoiled or like I don't want to work, but I have recently joined the overnight grocery team and have been made to do all the conditioning on back stock days. This is the first time I have ever had to do work like this, and I can usually cram in half the store, but the whole store??? We are real...
