currently 17 working in the front end for about a year and CANNOT STAND IT. Customers are rude and management sucks. Is there any possible way to get into another dept? Management recommendations? Typing up a safety plan how you will not use certain equipment?
So on my paystub this week I have Night Prem, and Night Prem 2. Night Prem 2 looks like it's what Night Prem was for the past year or so, with the proper YTD. But Night Prem, is actually docking me money. Does anyone know what's going on with this?
I asked a rep for a union book, and they told me to go to the local website, and I went to the site, and the section that says know your rights, and all that popped up was a blank page with a blank frame. what the heck is going on? how will i find my contract? this is so stupid.
Joy. Get ready for more useless t-shirts! Our ASP today was going around the store asking for everyone's shirt size for the upcoming "Refresh"roll-out. We did one of these pointless "Refresh" initiatives around three and a half years ago with Kroger wasting (ahem, excuse me... spending) lots of mo...
Greetings everyone, My name is Seth have worked for Kroger since 2005. (Delta Division) I would like to Step out of Produce due to health issues. How many Hours do I need to maintain to keep my Plan A part time insurance?
Okay so lets have a little story time. Flash back to about a month after I started cashiering at my Kroger Marketplace (one of the walmart sized ones). We have the register set up where the cahier unloads the cart, scans it, and sends it down the conveyor to the bagger. So customer comes through my line wi...
In our store....when a customer asks "can you look in the back to see if there is (name of product) we all say "everything has been put out." Besides our store doesn't really want us taking stuff out of there anyway. Messes up what night stock does. If a customer comes in with reusebale bags (most of them...
I recently found out there is someone new who does the schedule. I have been requesting weekends off , but this week it's been denied. I'm off on Sunday but they have me working from 11-7 on Saturday. There are plenty of cashiers that could have been on the schedule for Saturday. Do you think it's because...
describe your work environment today. I think we're all feeling the blow of reduced hours so I imagine we should get some good responses. I'll start. 2 people on vacation this week and 1 of those people's hours just "went away." I'm not sure where they went, but I had to replace BOTH of those people on...
Ever hear once you come onto your shift or walk into your department, all the oh so 'wonderful' things you should be grateful for from your co-workers? And doesn't it always make you want to karate chop a few of em in the neck for saying it in the first place? Like for instance since I've been on closing a he...
is there any way to print tags for an entire set that was moved? Recently had this happen and had to print each individuallY. seems like there would be a way to do this...
I wanted to transfer before the write up but was looking foe a store first before I ask the store manager. O refused to sign the write up though and asked for my union rep. Can I still move to another store. I like my store, but my cam is a moron and I don't think a he is leaving anytime soon, cuz no one else will...
I started out in Kroger last September... I was one of the few fortunate ones who was immediately topped out due to high experience pay. I just checked my job step and it says 700...What does this mean? I was under the impression that at step 500 you were topped out. Just seeing if anyone knows anything...
The position has been open for over 2 years. When I first got hired, every single one of my team members told me that they didn't want to be Lead. They didn't want the responsibility that comes with being the Lead. For my first 5 months I thought we had a Lead. I spoke with the RGM and asked them what I do if I'...
How much time does it take until you can sign another bid after winning one? I recently won a bid four months ago, and now I want to try to sign another bid to a location that's closer to home. Would an energy transfer letter factor into this at all or not?
