How is this going to affect the Company? In Atlanta Division Wednesdays is senior citizen day. They are going to do away with it in order to lower prices. Is this a good idea? Has any other divisions already done this? I live in a town about 17 thousand people and we get allot of seniors on Wednesday's. Als...
Will Trumpcare cause stories to hire more people as Full-Time? Accoring to the American Health Act, employers do not need to buy health insurance for full-timers.
Everyone is abandoning the front end at my store right now. Like everyone is transferring to another department. I am actually sad to see them go. I am new so I don't really understand what is happening. Is this normal?
Could someone explain exactly what "top of the hour" is? As our store has started doing this recently, so this has me confused as honestly, it just seems likes it's just an extra thing for someone from Customer Service to have to do every hour and I don't really see the benefit for it as I don't see really m...
So, I do ClickList at my store, and my goodness do I ever dread heading over to my Marketplace's produce department. I'm not trying to be mean here; I like a majority of the employees that work in produce and I think (most) of them genuinely try to do a good job and care, and I realize too that you can't catch...
How long did it take for people in your stores to get used to using the self checkouts? Our district just switched to them and people are resisting. They think they are going to "save jobs" by going through the lines with this passive resistance. How long does it take before they give up and start usin...
Can I still use the ford partner X-plan to purchase a car even if I no longer work at Kroger? If I can, how long do I have until I can't use it anymore??? Please answer honestly
The next few days are going to be awful in the bakery and deli with all the Derby parties going on. At least that's how it's going to be here in Louisville. The rest of the country probably doesn't care. Does your city or state have an annual event the rest of the country doesn't really participate in?
I have been at my store for a year. Almost 2 weeks ago, they told me my promotion to Assistant Service Deli Manager had finally gone through, after starting the process in October! Store Manager tells me she is going to make sure I get backpay. My job title on my profile hasn't changed yet, nor has my pay ra...
So just learned a bit ago before I got off shift that we are supposed to have some refresh group of people come in. I guess they must be as important as the Corporate peeps, as I had heard that even with it being as full as it should be. One of my back up managers told one of the bakers that she wanted it even more...

She got call into the manager office last week and they put her on indefinite suspension And ask her to return her work uniforn. They also told her that she cou...

I get so angry when I'm working with people who think they don't have to do anything. Why do I allow it to get to me? Why do I let others affect my mood? Why does it matter to me how well the job is done? Others don't care. Heck management doesn't care or they would put a stop to it. So, why do I care so much? -- Edi...
