The store I where I work recently got a chef/salad case and I've been put in charge of it. I'm trying to figure out a good way to store the tags/signs for the products. Right now they are loose in a big container and it's a pain in the neck. Any tips on good way to store and organize?
I've been scheduled outside of my availability for over a month now. I'm growing increasingly irritated with rescheduling doctors appointments because my boss wants me to work. I've had to cancel an appointment, reschedule one twice and missed out on a family event because last minute i'm schedul...
I got an SRI or whatever and was told I had to take a Break at 2 hours even if I didn't want it and not later than that. And that it was in the handbook that it has to be every 2 hours. Is this a true statement? Just curious. They said it was in the union contract and what not and I can't find an answer.
i am an ec kroger employee and quit so i could attend college. and honestly the only thing i have ever missed about the big K is the paycheck every week for not doing any thing all. i mean i sat in the break room for hours on end and got paid for it. i sat on a pallet of sugar for an hour and a half and got paid for it....

How much do you guys think it would cost to buy a Kroger? I was at work today and had the thought of "How much could Krogers corporate headquarters get some poor unsuspecting sucker to pay for this store?" My store for example is I believe the largest or in the top largest for our division, So we...
Hey guys, So I haven't posted in quite a while, but I wanted to let everyone know that I moved away from my home town and started working with a new company that is a smaller chain in Utah with only 18 or so stores. Essentially I started as a "freight boss," but I work rotating shifts (graves for 3...
Ok what are some things you see that make you not want to buy food from your own store? I bought a cheese stick today and opened it up and it was all dried up and i checked the package and it had October 2015 as the date on it!! I wonder what would have happened if i returned it and demanded my 39 cents back lol. ...
Went to Kroger tonight to see if any of the Valentine's Day candy was on sale -- all I found were the flowers. They've already taken down all the Valentine's and now have it set up for Easter. Within 48 hours of the end of Valentine's Day. Smooth. Gotta give them that.
Can someone please help me understand these Kroger paystubs? Why does it list regular hours, night premium hours and sunday hours as different categories? The pay rates are exactly the same, except for it shows the fifty centy night premium. Added together, the hours exceed how many hours I actuall...
So I have a cold (runny nose, constantly coughing, etc) And I'm scheduled to work from 3:30pm-11pm but I just don't see my self making it that long I've been a courtesy clerk for about three weeks now (I know that's not long, just some insight) and majority of the time they have me on lot duty and its been fr...

HOW can Kroger's force employees to pay union dues and they dont pay a union wage? So an employee that was hired at .10 over minimum wage, forced to join a union and pay union dues, which means they would therefore make less than minimum wage and be forced to strike so the big dogs could get more money... wh...
I work at QFC on Redmond Ridge in WA and I haven't gotten my w-2 form. I recently noticed that my address was wrong and was wondering if there's anything I can do to change it so I can get this form.
Has anyone else been told that we aren't allowed to turn off the register light anymore? Before, we had to turn them off if our register would be unattended (like if we had to go to the restroom) or when it was time for us to clock out. Now, I'm being told I have to wait until someone relieves me, but the hug...
