So yesterday one our our co-managers says to me "I hear you don't like the way things are going to change around here?" These include what ever E-schedule spit outs that's it, everyone will trained to do everything including bakery, part timers required to work two nights a week, and mult...

So today i am no longer an employee with kroger. I made a bit of money while i was here but after seeing what goes in with this company I know understand why people dont stay here for long. There are some good hard working people in this company but how much longer can they hold on with these policies and the n...
I got my monthly newsletter from UFCW 75 today and had myself a little laugh about it. There was an article in it talking about how Walmart is everything that's wrong with retail. About how Walmart is owned by one of the richest families in the world, surely they can afford to give their workers more hour...
Hi, I need a reference letter for scholarships in the next few weeks and I was wondering who I should ask about that. Does it matter or am I supposed to ask a store manager? I was thinking it'd be better to ask my assistant dept manager or my dept manager since they actually see me work a lot more. I like my ass...
I've been working at the fuel center for two years, while going to community college the whole time. So after graduating school with an Associate's degree, I had my availability set to be completely open while I wasn't in school. However, a few weeks later I ended up checking out a new college on a whim,...
I am starting in a new department in the morning. It is nutrition, and I know nothing about this department. I don't know anything about ordering, surveys, or anything!! I am hoping I will be trained on those things. Does anyone have any information on this department, or any advice that might help.

Anybody else makng these for Mardi Gras? Until about 15 years ago, I had never heard of them. A local bakery is also selling them in our store at almost 3 times the price of ours. I have a feeling we're going to sell more. We also have nine case of paczki donuts to get rid of.
For those of you who have worked for at least a year with Kroger, how much did you make? Does not have to be exact, but please keep it close to the nearest one thousand.
We are a very high volume store, our store manager doesn't give two ****s about his employees, and spends 90% of his time texting on his phone. The other 10% consists of him belittling us about osat and how we can raise it, and makes us feel like ****. He's ALWAYS grumpy, and you can never read his expr...
We literally could not keep carts in either side of the store foyers. At one point we had nine registers open. They just kept coming.....and coming...and coming....and coming... Like damn Walking Dead walkers, except you can eventually stop those from coming toward you. If our store doesn't do at l...
Now he won't even talk to me! I don't get enough hours to qualify for insurance. Should I call corporate? Will they do anything to help me? I know it's my fault. Please help me! I really need some advice.
Basically I was almost robbed last night at my Fuel Center. The man tried to claim he had perfume samples and tried to persuade me to try and come outside to try some. I'm not that stupid and I said no and he frowned and stood there looking around the parking lot before leaving. He had a black satchel that he...
So basically I'm getting in trouble, possibly fired, over something I wasn't trained for or informed about. I have never encountered a digital coupon before. At least not from a Not-Kroger-App. End of shift maybe 9/10 at night, only cashier, and front end manager is on vacation so we have a fill-in fr...
