So, I got stuck as a bagger or as the real term is "courtesy clerk" again today. It was only me and another courtesy clerk. Well, we both got stuck doing carts since there was nobody else. Getting stuck on carts doesn't sound bad, but IT WAS POURING RAIN! Literally pouring. I was getting soake...
Why is it that if we're off the clock, shopping, we get treated like second class customers? I basically got ripped off today. We have this Buy 5 Save $5 mega event going on. Pudding cake slices are included in the sale. They've been tagged as such, they've been scanned and have the little symbol by it. So...

Anyway, we were busy so I was asked to open up on a register to help clear the crowd a little. I had this one customer who started to bag her own groceries because I was still ringi...
Last week we had 3 people in the deli/bakery quit and one was in the hospital for a few days. We've only had 3 people in the deli a day and the bakery has been closing at 3:30 several times because of the lack of help and the one person being sick. When the schedule for this week came out everyone in the deli a...

Everyone seems to talk about getting written up as if it's doomsday, but what's the big deal? Is there a set number you can get before you get suspended or something? Or is it just some way to get you to fear them?
