Anyone here work in the meat department ? I am trying to get a job there at my local Kroger in Michigan. I wanted to know what the hours were and what a typical day was like. I was on register and tried to check my ring tender but hit the wrong key and this came out I thought it was cool and wanted to try again but can't remember how I did it. No one on the office even knew it existed. I think it was no sale something sign on. The thing is to block numbers that may be identifying to me....

I just recently switched from Nutrition to Produce Department, and in my first week of work, my hours were cut from 40 to 16. Could this be because of training? Is there a private company that stocks snack items in the Kroger stores like chips, cookies and such or do Kroger employees do that ? I heard that it might be a private company but don't know the name of it. Any one know ?
