Nothing irritates me more than people parking in front of the cart corrals. How the hell are we supposed to get carts when some idiot is parked in front of them? Some people are just morons.
So... I marked that i didn't worked for Krogers but the reason why I did is because I only worked there for 3 days, The manager called and asked me some questions she said she'll get back with me when everything is cleared and finish the hiring process, I'm really scared and regret not putting that i worke...
Hi guys, Long time reader, first time poster. I wanted to introduce myself. I worked for King Soopers for 7 years. I left in mid December of 2014 and have not looked back. I was the General Merchandise Manager for a large store that did 1+ million a week. I left the company as I felt Kroger in general is head...
Yep Front End is scheduling meetings this week and next. And some of those meetings will be during the courtesy clerk's and cashier's shifts. As if it is bad enough we never have enough baggers or people to bag, now we are going to be short some staff for what - at least 30 minutes, probably? All for 'Make i...
For about a year I was breaking down the grocery truck with another stocker, but it was not the same guy all of the time, because they would quit and this one guy transferred to another store. Well I had to come in 2 hours before the night crew and break it down and then stock my aisles, and I could never get i...
Can some one tell me what the required hours for a scanning coordinator are in division 660? Is it a full time position our only a couple days a week? One I know has been with the company about 10 years. Always got 40 hrs but now is told they are only defined as part time and get two days a week in the department...
I was looking at the schedule in the break room and noticed that one of our full timers is working less than 40 hours a week. How can you be listed as full time and work only 24 hours a week? It wasn't only this week.
Home Depot called this morning. Need to bring my social security card and driver's license to them tomorrow morning. After that, it's orientation -- I work Saturday but if I can get it off somehow (call out?) I can attend orientation. Then it's basically a combination of being on the 'lot training w...
My store is having a remodel in a month or so. I assume we're closing down because I heard there'a a re-opening. So I'm just wondering, what happens to courtesy clerks during that time? Thanks.
Almost everybody in my department seem to be disinterested and crass with their words and humor. Also this isn't just teenagers, it's full aged adults participating in some sick humor. I don't say anything... but a "retard seizure" joke pushed me really off. How do you handle co wor...
So i basically got the job I start training Wednesday but the manager called back asking she needed information about my passed working for Krogers, I got fired because my register came up short I had no idea how to work a cash register and my training my horrifying so basically I got put a cash register w...
So after being harassed by the union rep a couple months ago, I finally decided to join the union so the rep would leave me the hell alone and the rep told me it'd be a 70 dollar initiation fee and 7.45 member fee each week. Well after 7 weeks of them taking ten dollars out each week, I finally hit the seventy d...
It's a good thing I actually don't need the hours, or I'd be steamed over this. Still, this strikes me as odd. Two of my days for this week are marked as "Time Off Approved" on e-Schedule. Thing is, I never put in any such requests. In fact, looking at the "Date Submitted" column of t...
So our already struggling OSAT score took a pretty bad hit again this week because last week, we had a significant winter event overnight one night involving ice and snow that led to treacherous road conditions in the morning. Schools/businesses closed and local city officials/police advised peo...
For three months, I was looking for a job intensely. Within that time period, only kroger offered me a job. I took the job even though it was in a department I barely know about. I've been at kroger for about 2 months. So far its been ok.... however I just got a new job offer at my dream job. What should I do? ...
first day as a grocery clerk, manager said someone will give me a tour and show me the ropes. but where do I go when I first get there? obviously there's not going to be someone waiting there for me. lol
Does your deli have numbers? We've been trying to get a number ticket thing for years but management keeps refusing. They say "no, it's more personal if you ask which customer is next!" All that does is cause fights to break out and upset customers. Thanks Kroger.
