union says my resignation from membership does not affect your check off obligation that we will insist your employer continue to honor.... What does that mean??

For those whom this is intended, have no fear: You are are clearly too illiterate to read my insults. Please resume pinching your zits in front of net porn. For the rest? PLEASE get more involved in your children's education. A mind is a terrible thing to waste, but eight billion retarded mouths to feed...
the managers talk to u any way they feel like and think its ok. but its not. why do they think its ok. what would u do if the manager told u he would fire u if u missed time again even if u had a doctors note. and called u lazy, and said he didn't care if u r sick come to work any way.. it is out of line if u ask me...
So I worked at the Kroger by my college during the second semester last year while I was in the dorms. Summer was approaching so everyone signed a paper saying if they wanted to return next year or not. I signed it saying I wanted to. it was about 3 weeks before school starts this year so I called asking what...
I got yelled at by my night crew coworkers for being too slow (or "not hustling"). I think I go at a decent pace, but we have been finishing late somewhat often. Our day is generally: 700-1000 piece loads, 3 crew members 12:00 - start 1:30 - load broken down and spotted, break 1:45 - break ends f...
I was wondering if other cashiers has been told that if you do not get a 95% score on elms the company has told all managers that cashiers is to be wrote up. I was told today that if I do not get my elms score up I would be wrote up. the union has always said that the company could not write cashiers up over elms bu...
My Store Manager was really drilling down on me about the Pre-Prime-Time Review being bad. I scan the empty holes, watch out for multiple facings of certain items, watch for items that may be hiding nearby. I just scan them. Was there something I missed? - Milk
We are in the process of opening a new store and a union rep said if they can't get 51% participation in the union that the store will open as non union. Is that is even possible and would that be such a bad thing?
So we took the associate survey a little while ago. Kroger decided to replace the two best managers with total nazis. One of them wrote up an employee for taking a 16 minute break. What the hell man
I live in Alaska and have the kroger-dedicated Anthem BCBS, but have been fighting for SEVEN MONTHS to get a breast pump. They require that it come from a DME. The one they gave me locally (the ONLY one) "doesn't do breast pumps." So I found a publication from BCBS here: http://www.mympcben...
My store manger is awful and many employees have problems with her... like real problems, not just not liking her because she makes them do their job, but like demoting employees, choosing obvious favorites, and just not catering or trying to cater to her employees. What can I do about that?
being with kroger closing on to three years now, I have definately formed my views on the UFWC. Some are good while others are not so good. Prior to Kroger, I worked for Wild Oats. During my time there, several employees tried to rally support for unionizing our store. At that time is was strongly ag...
I'm new. I was asked to work tomorrow 12am-9am and I wasn't really told much... I need to know what I should wear my first day , jeans Or black pants, tshirt ? What color since I wasnt given a Kroger shirt yet? Oh and usually are the doors still unlocked for 3rd shift or do I have to buzz in some where? Fir...
It was mentioned that I would be working in the Dairy department during the daytime. I figure the Dairy lead will be the AM person most of the time and I would be the afternoon Dairy clerk which is ok with me. Does that really mean I will be working in the Dairy department actually stocking or Does that mea...
Boycot the best you can the Elko Smiths the store director is the worst yet and I am a customer. He smokes every second or on cell or he is yelling at the workers. No wonder they can't smile or say hi they are to scared to move. I hear he threatened many of them with sick family parents even that maybe when they...
Let's put it this way. I had a run in with my manager today and his only recourse when i asked him for proof of his accusations toward me was "Insubordination!" I doubt I'll be among you for very much longer. My union rep was of the opinion that I should keep my head down and be an ignorant grunt. L...
How much do file maintenance clerks make? according to indeed.com they make about $37k/year on average but that is not specifically for kroger employees. So I'm guessing that number would be unreliable.
